The add-on can't connect to the AMBOSS server

You may see this error message when the add-on can't connect with our server while trying to pull up the Article summary from our webpage. You can try these troubleshooting steps to address the issue:

  • Check if you can use our webpage without any issues
  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection
  • Fully close out Anki and restart it
  • Log out and back into your AMBOSS account within Anki. To do so, click on AMBOSS > Log out... (You can log in again via the same menu)
  • Uninstall and Reinstall the AMBOSS add-on

  • Update the AMBOSS Anki add-on. This can be checked via the Anki menu: AMBOSS > Check for updates

  • Update Anki to the latest version (follow this link)
  • Update your device
