The AMBOSS Student Life package includes unlimited access to the medical knowledge in our library as well as unlimited questions from our Qbank for an extended period of time:
- If you purchased the Student Life package through a Group Discount before September 2022, you are covered with unlimited AMBOSS access until your graduation year!
- If you purchased the Student Life package through a Group Discount or our shop after September 2022, you are covered with unlimited AMBOSS access through your PGY1 year!
- Student Life purchased after August 8, 2024, will automatically renew as a yearly resident membership after the end of a PGY1 year.
Once your Student Life package is activated, only the first two years of access are added to your account. To ensure your access is extended through graduation or PGY1, please send us documentation from your university showing your name and graduation year (for example, a picture of your Student ID). You can send this documentation via our contact form or contact the AMBOSS Support and we'll help you as soon as we can.
If you purchased the old Student Life package that includes unlimited access through your graduation but would like to extend your access through PGY-1, please reach out, and we'll provide you with the steps necessary to do so.
* Please note that the Student Life package is not a Lifetime Subscription, nor does it grant Lifetime Access. It instead covers your time as a student (or, with the new package, through your first year of residency). Alternatively to the Student Life package, students can also purchase a regular student membership as a monthly or yearly subscription.
* We are able to extend the Student Life access up to 7 years for the pre-September 2022 package and up to 8 years for the post-September 2022 package as long as we receive documentation showing you're enrolled in a longer program (for example, an MD-PhD program). If your program lasts longer than this and you'd like access for your later years, we can pause your access at any time so that you can regain access later on. Just let us know when you'd like for us to pause your access, and then reach back out to us when you'd like to resume it later (within your program graduation date).
