Assignment Insights
This dashboard provides information on performance and engagement of all assignments the user has access to. The dashboard can be filtered by institution group, individual assignments, individual users, and dates.
By default, Educators will only see assignment analytics for assignments they have created themselves. Admins will be able to see all institutional groups.
Individual User activity
- Qs completed: for the selected assignment(s), the numerator is the number of questions completed, the denominator is the total possible number;
- % Qs completed: a percentage of the Qs completed;
- “of assigned” vs. “of answered”: the denominator changes based on the number of questions assigned vs. the number of questions actually answered by the learner.
- “Initial % of”: the percentage correct based on the first (initial) selection;
- “Final % of”: the percentage correct based on the latest (final) selection. This data is for those programs that allow users to repeat questions and want to analyze the data. If a user has selected a question 3 times, the results of the 2nd attempt will be ignored;
- “Last active”: The last time a user completed any of the assignment questions;
- “Time/Q (sec)”: The average time spent on each question for an assignment in seconds (this can be helpful in identifying Learners who might be taking too long to answer or not taking enough time on a question)
Assignments report card
- Selected assignments are included in each column. All Learners who have been assigned the assignment appear in the first far left column M
- A “dash” means this assignment was not assigned to the user. (The user appears because they have activity for another selected assignments);
- A “0” means the Learner hasn't answered any questions (i.e. they haven’t started the assignment).
Personalized Recommendations
An educator can select a user, select an exam, and get recommended topics for the learner to study based on the same logic from the Learner's analysis.
Institution Insights (Admins Only)
This dashboard provides information on performance and engagement across the entire institution.
Note: Only Admins at an institution will have access to this dashboard.
