AMBOSS Grand Tests are full-length, timed simulations of the NEET PG exam, built to match the exam's evolving format and pressure.
What is a Grand Test?
Each Grand Test has 180 questions across 5 blocks, mirroring the 2026 NEET PG format, with latest style questions spanning all 19 subjects. You can complete all 5 blocks in one sitting or split them across the two-day testing window.
What you get from each GT
- National rank prediction: Your score is benchmarked against real NEET PG data and not just the pool of students who took this particular mock. Thus, your rank range reflects where you'd actually stand nationally if this GT were the real NEET PG exam.
- Detailed analysis report: A breakdown of your subject and topic-wise gaps with clear actions of what to read and questions to practise will be sent to you within 2 days of the GT submission deadline.
How to take a Grand Test
- You'll get an email from us in the morning when a Grand Test window opens.
- Grand Tests run on desktop web only — log in to the AMBOSS web platform in your browser to open the test. This replicates real exam conditions and keeps your session stable.
- Once the timer runs out, the exam window will close.
- Within 2 days of the GT submission deadline, you will get a detailed analysis report via email.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How is the predicted rank different from a normal mock-test rank?
Your rank is benchmarked and modeled against real NEET PG data, not just the pool of students who took this particular test with you, giving you a closer estimate of how you would rank if today’s exam was the real NEET PG.
Do I have to complete all 5 blocks in one sitting?
No, you can spread the 5 blocks across the two-day weekend window. Within a block, once you've started it, you can't pause the block: NEET PG Exam Mode disables manual submit, and the timer runs to completion even if you close the browser tab.
Can I review the test after I submit it?
Your detailed report with score breakdown, rank prediction, topic-wise gaps, and recommended articles arrives by email within 2 days of the GT submission deadline. Use that window to go back through your answers section by section on your own, so the material's still fresh when the full analysis lands.
Can I take a Grand Test late if I miss the deadline?
You need to submit before Sunday EOD of the particular test's window to be included in the report. All Grand Tests will be available on the AMBOSS platform until August 30th, 2026, but to get a score report with a rank prediction, you need to finish the Grand Test before Sunday EOD of that test’s window to be eligible for the report.
How will I know when a Grand Test is live?
You'll get an email when the test window opens at 9 am IST. Log in to the AMBOSS web platform on desktop to take it - Grand Tests aren't available on the mobile app.
Why isn't the manual "Submit" button working?
In Exam Mode, submit is disabled by design — your block auto-submits when the timer runs out, even if you close the tab. To exit a block early, use your browser's back button.
