I was trying to create a qbank for Step 1 studying to include multiple systems in one session. I received the following message: "That's a bit too ambitious. Try less than 100." with the Start button grayed out. I went through the support line and their response was:
"This behavior is expected. To help ensure the stability of your knowledge profile, the maximum size of a custom Qbank session has been reduced to 100 questions. If you'd like to complete more than 100 questions from a system, you'll need to create two or more sessions. I understand this is a new change from how the platform worked previously, and I'll also go ahead and share your feedback with our product team."
They then ended the chat without me being able to respond. To make my feedback incredibly clear: this is a RIDICULOUS change. Very very silly. I don't know what they meant by "stability of my knowledge profile," but I really don't care about that. I want to have one place where questions for a particular system are that I can return to and study from in preparation for Step 1. This is disappointing and I will be considering UWorld for Step 1 practice.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We completely understand that this change was frustrating, especially since your study strategy relies on creating larger, system-based question sessions that you can return to over time.
The original limit was introduced in an effort to create a more stable Qbank experience by encouraging smaller question sessions. However, after reviewing user feedback (including comments like yours) we recognized that this change wasn't meeting many learners' needs. I'm happy to share that this limit has since been reverted. You can now create Qbank sessions with up to 1,000 questions, allowing you to organize your study sessions in the way that works best for you.
