A custom session in the Qbank is a personalized Qbank session that you can build according to your specific study needs.
To create your custom study session, head to Learning > Qbank > Create a Qbank Session.
To make the most out of your Analysis and Study Recommendations, be sure to update your Study Objective (which you can also do via the Custom Qbank Creation page). Your list of available topics will be determined by your Study Objective.
Then, you can create a session using the many filters we have available. It's possible to scroll through the various filters or search for specific items to add. Note that, by default, all exams are included unless filters are selected.
For example, you may filter by discipline, systems, or question difficulty. You also have the option to select a folder or series of folders that you personally have created with saved questions in the Saved questions section.
Note that you can rename your Qbank Session by simply typing the name of your choice into the Session Title field. Below that field, a toggle button allows you to enable adaptive question selection. You can read more about adaptive question sessions on the dedicated help page.
You also have the option to filter questions by Marked questions only or by Questions with images only which is adjustable by clicking the More dropdown option! Using the Marked questions toggle, you can quickly and easily complete question sessions with only the questions you have previously Marked. If you don't have any questions Marked yet, you can get started by completing Qbank sessions and selecting the "Mark" option at the bottom of the question.
You can practice questions within the AMBOSS Study mode or Exam mode, set up exactly like the USMLE testing environment.
