I like to high light as I read my anki cards, and the add on is getting distracting.

We don't have that option at the moment, but I think it's a great idea! I'm forwarding your request for this straight over to our Product team. They'll see if it's something they can add to our Anki add-on sometime soon. Let us know if you ever have any other suggestions! We love to see them.

Hey Amar,
This might be a workaround for now.
If you don't like the hover, you can go to your Anki toolbar --> AMBOSS --> settings --> unclick the "enable pop-up definitions." Then you can pull up the amboss dashboard and search topics as needed, or if you have the amboss viewer (beta version) on Anki you can use that within the Anki window to look things up.
