Missing in-between question style

Hey,

When I use Amboss I feel that something is missing between learning a topic and diving into the question bank. While the question bank is an excellent tool for deepening understanding and preparing for exams, it can be overwhelming to use immediately after studying a new concept. To bridge this gap, I suggest integrating a "Test Yourself" section directly into the learning pages of each topic. This could be in the form of multiple choice questions, flashcards or (and this is based on the new AI trend) - having an open-ended question that you type in a brief answer, then the AI will let you know how correct you were and which sections you should go over again.

I do realize there is an option to create a question session based only on the topic I'm learning, however I do think something before these USMLE style questions is missing to test basic understanding of the topic.

Hi Omer- thanks so much you for your thoughtful feedback! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with AMBOSS. It’s great to hear that you find our Qbank helpful, and we understand the challenge of transitioning from learning a topic to diving into USMLE-style questions.

Your suggestion to integrate a "Test Yourself" section directly into articles within our Knowledge Library definitely makes sense. Providing multiple-choice questions, flashcards, or open-ended questions to test basic understanding would definitely create a smoother transition and reinforce the material before tackling more complex questions.

We’ll pass your idea along to our product team for consideration as we’re always looking for ways to improve the platform. In the meantime, we would recommend creating a Qbank session from within a Library article by selecting the Qbank icon below the article title.

If you have any more ideas or feedback, please don’t hesitate to message us at hello@amboss.com. Thanks again :)

    Best,
    Maddie from the AMBOSS team
