Preparing for STEP 3 using AMBOSS

Hello everyone,

I will be using AMBOSS to prep for STEP 3. However, I've heard that it hasn't completely been polished as a singular resource for test prep. Has anyone heard anything about this or further thoughts?

    Hi Taha- thank you for reaching out to us! We're glad to hear that you're interested in using AMBOSS for your Step 3 preparation.

    Our Qbank currently contains over 2000 questions that are high-yield for Step 1, Step 2, and the Shelf exams that are also relevant for Step 3 and have therefore been included in the Step 3 Qbank. While we haven't released a full original package for Step 3 yet, our editorial team is currently working on developing unique content specifically designed for residents and Step 3 preparation. 

    Our Step 3 content can be used as a supplementary tool to support your Step 3 preparation, but it should not be relied upon as the sole study resource. For instance, we currently do not offer any Step 3 case simulations.

    To access questions that are deemed high-yield for Step 3, select Qbank > New Custom Session from the sidebar menu of the platform. Once on that page, please make sure select the Exam filter and click the check box next to USMLE Step 3.
