There are a few different methods AMBOSS uses to deliver Institutional License access. If you know that your institution has an Institutional License or Trial where you are eligible to participate through redeeming an access code, you can activate your access by following these steps in your AMBOSS account. Please note that in most cases, your access code should have been sent to your institutional email address by AMBOSS, or was distributed by your institution's administration directly.
Here’s how you can redeem your access code:
- Create an AMBOSS account or log in to an existing account if you have one. Both actions can be done on the login page.
- Once your account profile is set up or you're logged in to your existing account, click the Profile icon in the top right > Manage Account > Redeem a code

Enter your access code in the field under Enter Your Unique Code and click the Redeem Code button.
After your code is redeemed, you can begin studying with AMBOSS!
Please note: Your unique code cannot be redeemed if you have an active membership in your AMBOSS account. If you run into any issues with this process, please contact support via the chat icon on the bottom right corner of this page.
