Hello everyone.
So I was thinking if AMBOSS can add a publication guide to its library. Similar to "Clerkship Survival Guide" and "Transition to Residency", there can be a section guiding students and physicians on common tasks needed in research.
Examples of articles that can be there:
- How to write an abstract
- How to write a dissertation/manuscript
- How to design a poster to be presented at a conference
- Etc
Personally, I struggled to write my first-ever manuscript. I used a website called Scribbr which helped me a lot in the process, but it's a very generic website targeted towards dissertation writing in general in any field. It'd be amazing if AMBOSS can provide articles and guidance on that that is medicine-specific. For example, when it comes to writing dissertations for cross-sectional studies, you need to follow the STROBE checklist. This is not mentioned anywhere specific and students and/or clinicians only get to learn about this by word-of-mouth or knowing someone with a previous publication who is kind enough to guide them on that.
I think that would be a cool addition. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Thank you so much Maddie, also sorry I meant to say STROBE checklist in the post not CENTOR criteria. My brain is fried with all the medical information haha. Thanks!
